A New Look For Better Profits
I sell a lot of master rights products and for the most part, the included sales letters/mini-sites are pretty good. Some are better than others but most of them are laid out in a professional manner and represent the product well.
However, I have gotten some that are aweful. Either they have poor sales copy, a poor layout, cheap looking graphics or all three BUT the product is really good.
If the problem is all three or a major sales copy issue, I either trash the product or sell it as it is. However, if it’s a graphics or layout issue and a product that I can promote over and over, I redo it.
Example: Easy Ebook Creator
Easy Ebook Creator is a really great piece of software, even today. But the sales letter that is included with it isn’t very pleasing. The verbiage and information is great but it looks cheap. Which isn’t good when people are buying something, as a general rule.
You can see the old site HERE and the redone site HERE.
As you can see, the new site has a better layout and graphics but the sales letter is the same. My cost to get the new site done was under $50 for the graphics and I spent an hour or two putting it together and it paid off with the sales.
I had a few people purchase it so they could get my sales letter and some that already owned it BUT they didn’t recognize the site so they purchased again. One buyer emailed to tell me that he had seen the product before but always avoided it because it looked cheap but purchased (without recognizing the site) from me. Simply because it was presented better.
Here are two more examples: eWriter Pro – Audio Niche Automator
(I don’t have the old sites online but a simple Google will show them.)
Remember, I don’t do this for all the bad master right sites but for really great products, that I plan to promote more than once, I do because it pays off.

I’ve done that too Garrie! Presentation sure does make a difference.
Know what I hate though? It’s those really crappy products that look great because of their killer sales letters. Then when you get the product it’s a huge letdown. Good to know you value your customers so much that you don’t bother with any but the best products. Keep it up, you’re sooo money, baby
welcome to the blogosphere! Good to see you out here, might be easier to communicate with you than replytogarrie.com
What is the common thread you’ve seen in your near decade of internet marketing? are the payday getting larger or smaller with each resell rights product?
Hi Logan,
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about what to do with replytogarrie.com. I don’t like making people goto one location then to another but at the same time, I like giving the options.
Paydays are getting bigger but of course thats not true for everyone.
