TinyMCE Not Fully Loading in IE

TinyMCE is a the javascript WYSIWYG editor using in WordPress and it seems that it doesn’t always load when using IE. It would just give an error.

When I found this issue I tried everything to fix it. Clearing cache, deleting cookies and I even tried reinstalling WordPress. Yet none of it worked.

It would using FireFox with no errors but being one of the few who doesn’t like FireFox, that didn’t matter.

So I started Googling (without an luck) and praying to the WP gods. Then I found the solution, by accident. At least I don’t think the WP gods had any devine intervention.

The problem was that I setup the blog as a www.domain.com in WP but when I was editing my posts, I was simply going to domain.com. Once I started adding the www the errors went away. Seems IE has a security feature causing it.

Stupid little things like that, really piss me off.
