GetResponse Features & Changes
When GetResponse released “6.0″ I was vocal about the poor execution but they did get all the errors fixed and since then, they have continued adding new features.
Some are only for upgraded members. While others are for everyone. And of course some of the features have been fairly pointless, like QR Codes. Although, I’m sure some people get benefit from them.
Other features have been purely cosmetic like changing the dashboard. Which IMHO misses the mark. But I have seen others praise it.
They also moved some items out of settings. For example moving subscription notices to stats. Again, IMHO, this was a poor move. Maybe it should be in both places but not removed from settings. Especially since it’s something that needs to be set when creating accounts.
The one great thing they have done in the last few weeks was adding “Inbox Preview.” Basically Inbox Preview allows you to preview your HTML formtted messages in various email clients. Last I looked it showed the format for 17 clients. It also shows how the web based clients like Hotmail will look in different browsers. This is really a great feature.
They are also doing a better job monitoring the net and addressing peoples questions and concerns.
Keep up the (overall) great work GetResponse!
