New Email Creator at GetResponse

GetResponse has made it’s new email creator open for beta testing and it’s pretty nice. In my quick testing I only found one bug. You can’t edit buttons more than once.

Besides that error, they no longer offer a blank template with an HTML editor. They offer a “blank page” you can type HTML code but it doesn’t have a WYSIWYG editor.

There seems to be less premade templates too. I’m sure that will be changed.

Of course it’s no surprise that the new email creator doesn’t fully work in IE, GetResponse does give a notice this time. Maybe they got tired of me always emailing them about the errors and posting about them. :)

Overall, I think it’s a great addition.

Garrie

Hi, this is Hanna from GetResponse marketing team.
Thanks for your feedback: you’re testing the beta version at the moment. We’re currently working on the buttons and the full version will be free of such problems. The same applies to operating on IE and the templates – we’re currently coding and testing them.
It is a great addition :) nevertheless, we didn’t entirely get rid of the old editor: it’s available under the new editor window as legacy version HTML editor.

    Many thanks for your post.

It’s amazing how Getresponse and Aweber have captured the autoresponder market. Whenever someone mentions autoresponders, those two always spring to my mind as the big two… and then there’s Trafficwave. I know Trafficwave do an affiliate program. Not sure about Aweber and Getresponse.

How much does the Getresponse cost on a monthly basis? I am looking to add an autoresponder to my site and want to have one which is low in cost because my site is rather small.
