PayPal Removed Mass Payments

I don’t send mass payments often. In fact I haven’t in over a year but every time I have, it’s only had one receiver. Me. Yeah, I know. Not much of a “mass” payment but it saves on fees when I want to transfer funds from my macro account to my micro accounts and vice-versus.

Well, today I needed to do a transfer err “mass” pay but instead I was greeted with the message:

“We’re sorry, but your PayPal account isn’t currently eligible to send mass payments. Please contact either PayPal Customer Service or your account manager.”

Before contacting PayPal, I decided to dig a little and it seems mass payments was removed from all accounts sometime last summer.

While I haven’t contacted PayPal yet, I have been told that if you email PayPal they will activate it within 48 hours. Calling will take however long it takes to get a person on the phone.

I’ll probably just email them and report back if anything above is incorrect.

Free Image Slicer

When I upgraded to Windows 7 I didn’t want to install my copy of PhotoShop 5.5 as it had some issues with opening some newer PSD files. My plan was to get the latest version but since I mainly resized graphics with it, I decided to not spend the $500 for it and to use Gimp instead. So I sold my copy of Photoshop 5.5.

Well, I forgot Photoshop 5.5 also came with ImageReady which I used a lot to slice images for sites I create. While other graphics programs can slice images, ImageReady also creates the HTML code and allows you to join certain slices with others. Plus, it’s easy to use.

Oh How I Loathe to Write

Writing is perphaps one of the most, if not the most, important skill a marketer should master. Yet, it’s the one thing that I struggle with. Which is strange because in high school, I was always writing short stories and poetry.

Sometimes I can’t come up with good topics, other times I have trouble connecting the paragraphs and at times I simply have trouble getting started.

Well, if you are like me, the most important thing to do is practice – a lot. Besides that, the 22 content creation suggestions in the info-graphic below should help you too.

Why You Should Create Master Rights Products

For those of you who may not know, master rights typically mean you purchase a product and are allowed to sell it yourself and pass the same rights onto others.

Anyway, in the past everyone was creating products with master rights but lately they have been more scarce, at least high quality ones. I think this is partly because of the instant commission affiliate model but mostly people never really understood how to make the master rights products work for to their advantage.

You Want Support?

I had someone contact me today because they didn’t get the download link for their purchase. I assumed it hit their spam folder so I apologized and resent it.

Only for the email to bounce back.

The few times this has happened, the person entered a wrong email address and I could find the correct one.

Not the case this time.

It seems the person is only accepting emails from people on their white list and bouncing all others.

I can only hope this person checks the support ticket before filing a complaint. I’m not holding my breath.

ClickBank Error: Unable to Process Your Order at This Time

Sometime ago I had someone email me saying they had received the error “Unable to process your order at this time” when placing an order at ClickBank.

Since I had never received the error I could only guess that there was an issue with the credit card company and suggested they try another card.

The buyer insisted that the card was fine as it works at other places but they always get the error when trying to order at ClickBank.

How to Win PayPal Unauthorized Transaction Complaints

Some time ago I told you how to win PayPal buyer complaints when selling digital items. Well, it seems now more and more people are filing “unauthorized transaction” complaints to get their money back.

8 Step Formula for Warrior Forum Special Offers (aka WSOs)

wso formulaThe Warrior Forum has always been a gold mine to learn about marketing, to discuss business ideas, to join mastermind groups, to make friends and to find joint venture partners. But within the last “few” years it has become even more valuable because of WSOs, short for Warrior Special Offers.

Basically, a WSO is a product or service that is being offered at a price lower than the general public receives. That’s what makes it special. :)

There have been people launch five figure products and entire businesses models with WSOs. However, there are also people who don’t sell enough to pay the cost of the WSO. These people, fail, partly, because they don’t know how to launch a product much less a WSO.

Schmoozing To The Top

Those of us who have been in “IM” for any length of time know that networking at marketing events is, most of the time, more important than the speakers and what they are selling, errr teaching. That the contacts made can help you reach the top.

Well, now it seems the rest of the world is catching on. Read this article from CNN on the topic: Professor of networking on the power of schmoozing

More Graphic Sources

I already told you the sources I mainly use for graphics and thought I would tell you how to find images on for commercial use on Flickr.

You simply:

- Visit Flickr
- Select “Advanced Search
- Scroll down and tick the “Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content” and “Find content to use commercially” boxes
- Then do your search.

You’ll end up with lots of photos where the creators have explicitly stated they allow commercial use.

If you don’t don’t the ones you need, check out this list of Wikipedia public domain image resources.
